Toussaint King, a New Orleans-born designer who is now proudly on Serena Williams' Design Crew was born with a love for sneakers in his blood.

To give more young people from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to design, Serena Williams launched an apprenticeship program with Nike committed to training designers and helping them create meaningful designs that speak through sportswear culture for all walks of life!

King is one of the most talented sneaker designers in today’s generation. He was handpicked by Serena Williams to join the program, where he got a chance at designing shoes like The Australian Open 2021 footwear, the Air Max Koko sandal.
