Antoine Gregory is a New York-based fashion consultant and archivist. A two-time graduate (Fine Arts and Fashion Business Management) of the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology, Gregory founded Black Fashion Fair (BFF) to give Black designers and image makers a platform to be seen and heard as well as have agency over their work.
Over the last two years, BFF has become one of the most impactful creative communities for Black designers. The cross-channel hub offers a virtual marketplace with a stellar curation of fashion’s most exciting Black designers and prioritises the discovery and furtherance of new talent through conceptual retail, educational initiatives, and cultural experiences. In 2021, Black Fashion Fair teamed up with the Brooklyn Sewing Academy to develop a training program dedicated to addressing systemic issues in the design industry through education, which has continued to equip next generation creatives who may not otherwise have access to practical training in sewing, pattern making, and fashion illustration.
Gregory represents a new wave of Black creatives who are rerouting fashion’s obsession with exclusivity. He has worked on projects for Pyer Moss, Fubu, and Telfar and continues to collaborate with emerging designers of colour throughout his practice which spans across fashion, beauty, art, and photography.
Asides his work on BFF, Gregory also serves as brand director at Theophilio and is charged with leading the overall brand and marketing operations of the contemporary clothing brand.
